I wonder if there is a Swiss equivalent to the Ingersol Dollar Watch? That would be the ticket. Not in as much as it is lightly jeweled, but the balance wheel is more reminiscent. I can't see the movement being gold plated. I used to think that was done, but the coating is different and sometimes looks like gold plated.

sorry meant the case seem gold plated ... and the sides have been engraved but I know absolutely nothing about it. it work's quite well it is lose when winding it up but if you see the one set of screws to hold the dial to the movement on the bottom is missing so that explains the wobble but it is complete un-marked apart from the swiss made on the mechanism .. I want to lean towards it being old but don't think it is worth anything but for the interest of the movement lol but it cool but will have to find a small nato for it lol or a bundi

Looks to me like an old cylinder movement. Maybe a pocket watch conversion at one point 80-90 years ago?

would be nice but think it is a bit newer and is only the size of a hmt movement if not slightly smaller so don't think it was from a pocket watch unless maybe a ladies one ?

Sure looks like an old school movement. Lady watches were the ones most often converted to wrist watches back in the day.
