The Great Outdoors
I'm sure many of us enjoy spending as much time as we can outside, on mountains, climbing (for some insane reason) icy cliffs and frozen waterfalls. As such, we generally like to document those activities on film...er, on pixels(?). So, let's see your favourite outdoorsy shots. Here's a few of mine (posted on another site or two before, so my apologies if you've already seen 'em!).
Also, what kind of gear do you use? For knives, I carry a Fallkniven F1. I tarptent it, too.
Various locations, all in southern Alberta, Kananaskis country.

The Dude Abides
Outstanding pictures.
When I go out and about, I always carry a Benchmade knife, matches, compass, and other small survival items as part of my regular gear.

Not really a mountain, more like a really big hill in Puerto Rico. When I first got to the top it was so cloudy I couldn't see 50 yards. It finally cleared off enough to get this shot. My pic doesn't do it justice.

Nice pics Statius. My stomping ground is in northern Ontario, I have a small acreage (52) that back onto enormous amounts of Crown Land, so it feel like I own more. I'll upload some shots, but they won't be as nice as yours. I am planning to head back up sometime just before the thaw and I'll take some more now that I have a nice camera. I'm starting to build a new cabin.
I carry a Grohmann #4. They are Canadian made an excellent, highly recommended.
It is now my duty to completely drain you.

Great pictures- I'm going camping in a few weeks. Nothing quite as exciting as those pictures though.

Original Gangsta
And here are some dry pictures:
This, I believe, is The Bomb in Eldo Canyon (or may have been Estes Park), that I climbed oh, a decade or so ago.
