    Wow what a douche. I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest he knew darn well what was wrong with the watch and was looking for a sucker.

    At this point I'm pretty sure he did. The bum who sold it to me is user thehappycamper on WUS. Check out pics of this watch that has only "faint signs of wear." I can fit a credit card in the gap between the case and case back.

    Just curious: How does that happen? Why would it NOT close right? Is the caseback warped?

    That's terrible.

    One time I had an issue. I sold a watch that to my eye looked just about perfect, but on closer inspection had a number of flaws. When it was brought up to me by the buyer, my first response was to offer a partial refund to bring the watch closer in line to what it would have been on the market should I have noticed those flaws. The buyer accepted that, I gave him his refund, we parted on good terms.
