That's really rough, man. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I'm sure she'll make it out soon.

Ma'an that sucks big time. Hope it happens soon; that'll be a joyous day.

Something massively insignificant, by comparison, for me:
The 'right' pair of shoes. My feet seem to have changed shape/size recently (weird, I know) and none of my shoes are comfortable any more

Your feet enlarge as you age because the ligaments and tendons loose their elasticity and don't hold the bones together as tightly.

It's worse for women who've borne children as their bodies secrete hormones to loosen ligaments to prepare the body for delivery.

Makes sense; but it seemed to happen rather suddenly. Do the tendons just 'let go' like over-stretched elastic bands, or something

Yeah, sure.... sounds like just another excuse to buy more shoes, to me

Chase, I'm sorry to hear that...I've been down you're road, stay strong and believe in destiny. Remember every day is a new day, start fresh and carry a smile into her room....give her a reason to fight, let her feel your love every minute. Do your own research, don't trust anyone, believe in yourself, keep the family strong, stay focused.

Best wishes to you and your little one....it'll be a hell of a day when she comes home.

Whoa. I was going to post something, but it utterly paled in comparison to this. I don't know her situation, but I sincerely hope it is resovled soon and your daughter is able to come home healthy. Stay strong.

Hell Chase, that's tough. My youngest also spent a large part of her early years in hospital, not continuously but enough to give me an idea of what you're going through. Hang in there and I hope she is soon able to come home to you. Mine is now approaching 23 and a royal pain in the *** nah, she's fine, untidy as hell but fine. :-)

As for me, not much missing, in fact nothing springs to mind, maybe a tidier couple of daughters?
