The same 3 feet of snow that's been on the ground for the last 8+ weeks is still here, and it was almost -20 last night.

I'm not complaining, but spring is still a ways out for us. Wiarton Willy and Punxsutawney Phil couldn't shake hands this year, so it's anyone's guess.

Ah, yes, signs of spring. I saw some Daffodils shoots on the way past a local park this morning.

Not a flake of snow all winter down our way; much to my wife's annoyance.... She desperately wanted to build a snowman with our children.

You should pick one of those daffodils and put it in a clear vase or glass with some water and food coloring.

It does and I've never met a child who didn't get a kick out of it. It teaches them about how flowers drink water too.
