Anyone know this brand? Carl Gruttert

I spent a few days in Hannover, Germany recently and killed some time at a high-end shopping mall by the Bahnhof. There were lots of fashion watch stores but I was disappointed at the lack of anything better. No Sinn, no Nomos, GO, ALS or Junghans. Nothing Swiss. Not even a Tourneau!

I did find one store selling higher end quartz and mechanicals. It was a boutique from a German brand Carl Gruttert. Here's an example of one of their automatics.

    What's known about this brand?

I thought they were known for standing/grandfather and cuckoo clocks. There are a couple of videos on YouTube about them but they are in Russian.

Fair chance it's a mushroom brand, considering the calendar-with-chrono-look. The only other mechanical watch of this brand I found an image from had a Chinese movement for sure.

That was my instinctive reaction too. At least, the thinking it was Germasian bit

The watch looks exceptionally dull and ordinary, and unworthy of attention.
