Apple just did it again
And this time it came from a completely unexpected place. ResearchKit seems to me to be one of the biggest ideas for medical advance in recent years. I hope it's a huge success! The example they gave in the presentation was for Parkinson's, and it couldn't have been more to the point in my case, I saw my grandfather dwindle to nothing by parkinson's disease, I would not wish it on anybody.

I agree. As much as I was interested in finding out more about the Apple Watch, this struck me as far more interesting and significant in the long run.

The good part is, I don't see Android not wanting a piece of this, it is for the good of human kind, how could they NOT want a piece of this? And how can Apple say no and not lose face? And what will they do to one up one another? Other illnesses? Pollution Research? Climate research? It opens a whole new level of data gathering.
If it works.
I hope it does.
The watch was ...meh. I still need to see real life user reviews, so far it's not doing it for me personally. But the ResearchKit is a total game changer.
