Thank you, on both accounts.
I was was trying to change the strap on my Oris on Saturday, and finding it impossible to do. I learned from Is That My Watch and Der Amf that there are some spring bars that are almost impossible to get out without cutting them. In my effort to get the strap off, I may have magnetized the watch (probably using graphite was not a good idea!) So my watch began running very fast, increasing 2-3 minutes a day. I brought it to my local watchsmith today to both remove the strap and get the watch running properly. Hopefully, it will be done in a week and back in working order!

Good luck with your Oris Jane... hopefully everything will be sorted out.. luckily you still have back-up watches.. and that VSA is sweet!
got this watch as a gift several years ago... not really my style but i appreciate the gesture =)
it a local brand with miyota quartz chrono movement.. (took the pict just because its about 10:08 =)
