Im going to Las Vegas in a few weeks with my fiancée.
We're staying for 7 nights

What would people recommended to do when there?

Cirque du Soleil shows are fantastic. MrsO has been twice recently and the evenings have been filled with shows.
Tickets can be quite pricey but great shows, I think booking in advance is a good idea.

My wife and I saw Love and La Reve last time we were in Vegas, both enjoyable. We sampled food at Aureole, Craft Steak and Carnevino. Not my top ten meals, but good food and service.

A friend and I went out to Vegas for SEMA and in our free time rented some Hardley Ablesons and rode out to Hoover Dam and around the desert. Great weather and scenery, but the bikes weren't very exciting.

Ive wanted to see cirque du soleil for years so I think we'll have to go.



We might rent a car and drive to the grand canyon it'll depend on the rental cost tho

Use the resources from the concierge when you arrive. Lots of things to do in Vegas, both day and night if you do a bit of homework. Coupon books and discounts are in almost all collateral materials. Google is your friend. Especially true to find alternatives if you don't gamble much.

Lots of people in Vegas, both good and bad so always be aware of your surroundings, IMHO, if this is your first time.

Motorcycle trips to Hoover are super cool, super great restaurants in Caesar's Palace, but we also loved the Elvis impersonators show too.......

If you absolutely must eat Vegas buffet go to The Wicked Spoon in The Cosmopolitan. It is better than quite a few sit down meals you can get there.

The Paris Buffet is also excellent, or at least it was several years ago. I go to Vegas 2 or three times a year for work. I've already been there twice this year! One of my favorite restaurants is Strip House at Planet Hollywood.
