    100%

I just made a payment through a website using PayPal and saw that they were stating it was 100% secure. That seems awfully damn confident. Can they really claim that?

It would depend on the definition of secure of course. In PayPal's case, they say this because if your account is used in an unauthorized fashion, they'll give you your money back. So, it's not 100% certain that you won't become a victim of fraud, but if you are then you will be covered for 100% of the damages (to a point I'm sure).
It is now my duty to completely drain you.

would you use the facility if it stated it was only 99% secure?

    This

They're rolling in money, if something goes wrong they give it you back out of their own pocket and take on the problem themselves, therefore it's 100% secure.

    I was only teasing WMW

Actually I misread this when I first read it the other day, I thought it was Paypal that were shouting that they were 100% secure, it's the Justgiving site that's bragging about the security !

Lol, I know. Actually you're right, I didn't donate after taking the screen grab (but had a few minute earlier - a friend is doing an overnight walk for a local hospice)
