    Hello everyone

    Hi all.

    Just joined. Thanks for sharing an opportunity.

    I am from India, and a teacher of English and Psychology.

    Started collecting watches since last 10 years...And now have started learning how to repair as well.
    Currently own almost 40 watches and more than 20 are antiques.

    love me a vintage watch guess you must have had a hmt at one point

    so what others you got

    I have many old watches
    Tissot, HMT, seiko, Enicar, Titoni Airmaster, Titus, Omega, Ricoh and others..

    Currently working on an Aetos. It has an FHF MOVEMENT.

    looks nice and I guess it's quite easy to get parts where you are as I see a lot of swiss brands coming out of India now

    I cleaned and fixed it. The Hairspring had issue.

    Unable to clean the watch face as it's Hand painted. So don't want to damage it.

    Haven't been able to age this Aetos.

    But I think... My oldest yet will be a Ricoh.

    Goes back to 50's

    yeah a lot of old watches the issue is the hair spring I find I remember on my 1912 trench watch I had to strip and clean the hair spring before I got it going
