Took an old frogman 8200 to a watch guy. Even he couldn't get the back off. I almost hurt myself trying it. He mentioned the freezer to shrink the metal then try it. Any ideas?

with some stubborn screwback sometime need the studier screwback opener like this one:

hopefully you could find a watch guy/repairer that have one of these kind of tool..
goodluck buddy... i know some screwback could be really stubborn..
I've tried the freezer trick as a last resort and it works. I also use freeze spray before that which usually does the trick.

Keep us updated. I'd hesitate to use any spray, but as a last resort after the freezer trick. This is totally obvious, but sometimes with the screwback tool, I don't have all three of the spokes in the back securely, and sure enough that's all it took.

To be honest, I'm happier using the freeze spray before putting the whole watch into the freezer and it usually works.
