Good feedback. Bummer it is so large at 42mm.

I don't think 42 mm is that large. O do like the clean look of it!

Liking the no date in true dress watch fashion despite the size which is modern.

They added a second barrel to double the power reserve. Surely that made the movement bigger.

My Ebel Classic 100 is 40mm and is just as dressy, and it doesn't even seem large, though I'm happy to wear down to 34-36mm.

I'm wearing a 42mm Zenith Captain today, and at 42mm, it just doesn't seem that large, even in a size-inflating iphone wrist shot.

One thing about a really large dial with central seconds--the glide of that looong seconds hand is a beautiful sight. I have a much larger (45mm) Ebel Classic Hexagon and the inch-long seconds hand is mesmerizing.

You are correct in that watching the glide of the long seconds hand is indeed a beautiful sight. Even the stutter caused by my slightly slower Planet Ocean sporting the 8500 movement is beautiful sigh to behold.

I always enjoy seeing pictures of this watch. It's so classy.
