Vintage less-worn rotation continues for me, with Hamilton Thin-o-matic c. 1968 with Buren micro-rotor.

Too many watches, not enough wrists.

I was trying to buy an Old Vostok, but the seller was not that comfortable selling in India, for which I don't blain him.

The watch had a Calibre 2809....similar to zenith.

Thanks, Prof. M! Here's a good article on the Buren, which Hamilton called the Cal. 628: http://www.timezone.com/2003/09/11/a...ramatic-52101/

At the time, Hamilton owned Buren, although the ownership of Hamilton itself was transitional.

Ive owned a 2809, Marcus, a beautiful and very accurate movement, based as you say on the Venus 135 chronometer movement

Dave DW now owns it :-)

If I can be a helpful gobetween in your future watch purchases, please PM me
Indian members on other forums have been very kind to me in sourcing HMTs, so Id like to return the favour
It's the final countdown! PM me before they're all gone!

    Respect my squire.

I have many HMT of my own too, all repaired and polished by Me. Some handed down by my dad.
