I was thinking the same thing. Then I said it out loud, a couple of times, and just LOL'd. My addiction is simply too strong.

Hey OD3, did you ever read that passage in All Tomorrow's Parties where Gibson describes that machine that fully restores old watch movements? Beautiful. If only these things existed.
Regarding The article from Wired, I read it when it was published. I still have the hard copy somewhere. He wrote nicely about the wristwatch obsession.

I don't think I've read All Tomorrow's Parties (it doesn't help that they've changed the covers since I read most of his books)
Will have to check that out. I do find his vision of the future, with such things as that machine and Ricksons jackets, a very appealing one
