    My first Ball. Skindiver.

Impressed except the bezel does not feel as stiff as I prefer

The bracelet is remarkably comfortable, reminds me of my Doxa's bracelet which is really comfy too

I'm generally not a big fan of Ball watches
    But, this one...
Oh yes I like this watch

Yes , the day-date is pretty uncommon
But , this dial is really nice , simple as I like
And the case not too big
    Really a winner for me

You should like the new Oris watch presented at Baselworld

Perhaps not my *earliest* Ball - but the earliest one for which I have pictures available. A Ball-Elgin from 1904-5.

    My first Ball. Skindiver.

Congrats on the Skindiver. This one is high on my first time Ball watch recommend list. It does seem to fit most wrist sizes well and you choose wisly getting the bracelet. I've it find one of the most comfortable bracelets made due to the small link size and flexibility. There are some great videos in the Ball Basel 2015 thread showing Jeff Hess (Ball USA CEO) explaining the history of the 1962 Skindiver watch this is based on.

Just ignore the new 43mm Skindiver they just announced at Basel. I like this one better and it has a 20mm lug width so more straps will fit it than the 21mm on the new one.
