    I like that one. It has a lot going on but the dial is quite easy to read.
    Once in awhile you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

    Nnnooooo. A wonderfully generous gesture on your part, but I'll miss being watch buddies with you. Do you still have the Orient Defender? I want to at least have one watch that you have.

    Yes i still have the Defender.. i really like that watch..

    Plus we still similarly own orient black mako and IWL watch my friend..

    Thanks. I think it’s a very practical and legible layout for a GMT and quite unique. The second hand is moved away from the main hands to a subdial to minimize “hand confusion” and the date occupies the other subdial. The date is advanced by the upper pusher and the GMT hand is advanced in half hour increments by the lower pusher. Local time and home time (or GMT) are incredibly easy to set.

    The only frivolity about this watch is;
    i) the date subdial is smaller than running seconds subdial
    ii) the waffle pattern in the subdials.
    Otherwise it’s all business.

    How could I forget the Mako?! We're solid on the watch buddy front, so I'll sleep better tonight.
