Thread: Watch for rock gigs?

  1. #71
I've been in similar gigs and used non-beaters.
Now when I think of a the last gig where I was in I remember that heyyy I had this badass black dial rose gold automatic watch with real alligator strap there!
Any signs of use, dings and scratches, I remember where it happened.
I don't sell my watches because obviously they've seen things that are important to me.

    I tried it on yesterday:

I liked it, tbh. The size is fine for what it is, but what it is I wouldn't classify as a rock gig watch. Tool watch, yes, very much so. If I was looking for an automatic replacement for a G, this would be a very serious candidate. Not sure about the rubbery parts and how they're going to wear out, though.

Meanwhile, my today's gig watch is...

which I forgot as a purchase was an offshoot of this very thread.

Edit: and here both side by side, I forgot I took this pic.

I'd have to try it on.

An original design or a knock-off of something I don't know?

I don’t recognise it, but everything else on that website seems to be a copy.
