    Let's theorise.

I feel like the quartz version would be more appropriate for the purpose, and given that it has an EOL indicator, I might be even willing to put up with periodic battery changes. But ~€800 is quite an ask for something with a €20 caliber, no?

The auto, on the other hand... First, not the best idea for energetic concerts. Second, at ~€1200 the quality would really have to be there, and I have a (hopefully, wrong) feeling we're dealing with a Swissese here. I can't remember checking this watch out in person, will have to.

Now, does this watch bring you any others of similar character to mind or is it one of a kind?

Worth every penny at €800, and there’s no substitute for the Ventura.

    Iconicity.

And being significantly cheaper than the auto versions.

After a careful consideration, nope, no €800 worth of iconicity in it.
