    Cool watchmaking video

A young Japanese watchmaker, building a handmade complication watch, with flexible hour lengths using a beautiful cam system. I like it.

If people want, this could be a thread where you post your favorite watchmaking videos ... if there isn't one of those already languishing in the history pile...

Too many watches, not enough wrists.

Ahah, in fact I just noticed that Seriously found the same video on that thread. Oh well, I enjoyed it anyway!

It's easy to overlook existing video threads with the same video already posted, I've done it myself.
They're virtually impossible to 'search' for via the search system obviously.

I enjoyed that guy's vid the first time round too

Indeed, he just seems really humble and serious, and to see the cam mechanism he created is amazing, so elegantly simple yet complex in its achievement.

I would actually suggest merging these threads under '(Cool) watchmaking videos' title or something similar -- should be easier to find.

No big deal either way. It's all just for entertainment. The mods can decide if any action is better than simple repetition or fading into obscurity. I just visit here to look at watches for a minute while waiting for my computer to finish chewing on stuff.

If we had no repetition there would not be much content! I mean how much can one say about watches?
