**** newest oldest watches let see them together ****

well was looking at the thread that -JP did here....

    http://www.intlwatchleague.com/showt...most-expensive

and I thought well mine are always cheap haha sooo any who I thought how about one with the oldest watch you own in term of the age of the watch more then how long you have owned it so I will go first

This is from at a guess 1960's I think it could possible have been a lady's pocket watch pri to the 60's maybe early as the 20's to the 40's as a pocket watch and it still goes but have not been able to track a decent strap for it

And the newest would be this Seiko Model number SKS405P2 which has all the functions on it

But still I like the old sub-six better haha but that is just me love the history of a watch you just get some thing when you hold an old watch you just don't get with the new .. well I do I bet there are a few who know what I mean .

Oldest is easy - my grandfather's Omega bumper. This was made in 1945 or 46 and given to him on July 31st 1947 (according to the inscription on the back).

The newest is a bit more complicated as all my watches are now out of production, I just don't know when. I suspect it is my IWC 3717 Spitfire chrono which was made until 2011/2 (The successor 3777 was introduced along with new "triple date" range of IWC pilots at SIHH in 2012). I got it from AD in 2012 and it is now having it's 3-year service.
