Lightbulb Do you have a birthyear-watch or do you fancy one? Post pics and/or suggestions here!

I used to have one, untill some lowlife scum broke in to my house and ripped of my watchcollection. I had the 1975 Fortis Marine Master Super Compressor.

I've not one. Love a lot of mid 70's design, but don't love a lot of the sizes.
Wouldnt mind picking something up at some point. Not like I actually need an excuse to buy a watch

    That Fortis is sweet.

it's 42/50-something mm's, so it's not too small like some older watches

    That's pretty much ideal actually.

Some time ago I had looked into the early 70's Fortis tv watches. I've always been attracted to the design, and since a Nautilus isn't going to happen any time soon perhaps I should revisit something like that or the one you showed.

I like the mid-70's Aquadives too, especially the 50 but it is at the other end of the spectrum and too large.

I don't have an actual birth year watch; I have one prior to my birthday, and one after, kind of like bookends.

Nope. Guess I'd like one now though. Shall I start a new general suggestions for birthyear watches thread or do you want them here, IB?
