Ok, you win. But, I would argue an illegible watch is a useless watch.
The pessimist says it can't get any worse while the optimist says it can.

True, but at least you can watch the wiggly bits...

Kind of like wearing a watch with a pretty movement backside up? I've seen many a watch on this thread that look soooooo much better from the back. Now I like a beautiful movement as much as the next guy but the main reason I buy a watch is to tell the time. Feel free to call me crazy but I like a watch that tells the time.

Yes, yes, yes - and it wears big on the wrist and the crystal looks like a bubble and it's annoyingly indiscrete and the dial is micro-sized and...and...I would love to own one!

Yep. I somehow thought that the PR scale was suspended over the dial, but after mlcor's comment I saw that it's actually inlaid? No likey on that. The whole thing is pretty and while normally I don't like such undersized dials, here I kinda dig how it forces you to look at the movement first before you go up to look at the clock.
I'm sorted and so not buying any more watches.

So, as I feared, I got to try this one on today and it is much much nicer in person than the pictures I’ve seen. Everything is finished to the Lange standard, I love the different dial textures, and the pushers (one for day, one for date) are little works of art. The bracelet is much nicer in person, and the “integrated” design doesn’t bother me like I thought it would, because the flow into the case is pretty harmonious.

I’ve been “approved” by Lange so I can buy one if I want, although not sure when it would actually arrive—they think by year end. So I’ve got some thinkin’ to do...
