Yeah my gut says return it, it’s just going to be a pain to do as we are shielding ahead of my wife having an operation so I won’t be able to go to the post office for weeks potentially

I’d return it

Hermes and others do pickup from your door, not extortionate
Given the circs, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to ask the seller to cover it

If they won’t, they’ll have to wait til you can get to the PO

Thanks all. It’s Amazon who are normally pretty reasonable. Just hope the big corporate machine can cope with a non standard request
