    I’ve seen many of these quartz wall clocks with different branding and style, and always fail to understand the pricing.

    I mean 700 quid???

    I've seen that one IRL and it's stunning, but with no running seconds and around 28x more expensive than the Zelos I got, not attractive enough for me. Interesting, according to Hodinkee: "What looks like Aventurine is actually a solid silver dial coated with a thin layer of goldstone (also called Aventurine glass, not to be confused with the hardstone itself), and there are microscopic copper oxide crystals layered in the coating (hence the name Blue Copper)."
