They might just be a tease, because Eddie has previously said he wouldn’t take it into production.
On the other hand he might find it tempting to twist the lion’s tail. Eddie’s first brand was ‘Broadarrow’, which made sense, since he was making tributes to old British military watches.
Omega managed to persuade a judge that ‘Broadarrow’ indicated ‘Omega’, which was plainly ridiculous, but Eddie didn’t have the resources to defend the action. This is the British military pheon we’re talking about, and Omega were saying that ‘broadarrow’, the commonplace alternative to ‘pheon’, was theirs - even though they hadn’t trademarked it?
It was outrageous, but Eddie was forced to close his brand, which is why he changed his brand name to Precista.
Who knows? It’s never easy to make predictions with Eddie, bless him.
