    I have one, but don't use it on watches except for when 'brushing' the finish - I can't get a brushed finish straight/even by hand.
    You don’t round edges if you tape them one at a time as your finishing them. Start with the innermost surface you want to polish and then work out one at a time towards the edge taping over the just finished surface and brushed areas.

    Other tip I learned from my coating days, but it’s also helpful if you have just a case to work on is to use threaded plastic plumbing fittings. Most movement sizes will match standard pipe sizes so find two that will screw through the case. It can be used as a handle or clamped in a vise.
