The only difference from a more conventional layout is noting whether it’s indicating am or pm. I grew up with no real awareness of 24-hr time, so in practice I’m always doing a ‘minus 12’ calculation check for 13.00 to 23.00. It’s swift, but it’s there, and glancing at the am/pm indicator is more natural. 7pm is the time, if you like, while 19.00 is a number equivalent to the time. Age (and maybe culture) may be responsible for this quirk - if it is a quirk.

The absence of the 24-hour scale (which can often look a little crowded) makes for a neater watch.
Ah, sorry, in my mind the GMT hand was 24h (like in 2893), not 12, that's why I was picking on no indication of that on the dial. 12+AM/PM is fine.

I think Richemont are somewhat more obsessed with 12/12 gmt instead of 12/24,besides that VC there are lots of Panerais with 12/12 gmt,in fact they only made one 12/24 gmt model with their in house movement

I don’t really follow the GMTs in JLC and IWC current line ups
