yeah think ebay in general is getting worse daily all but ready to give up on it , but other sites are just not as good thou in different ways tried a few of them with not much luck got a few going to move on then give up with it for awhile

I agree , had a couple sometime back I was the only bidder and paid (a fair price) only to be told no longer available . So I made a note of name and make sure I never bid on their items again no matter how much of a bargain. There's plenty of others.

A comment elsewhere that the Vostok works on their jollies untill Sept. no wonder nothing new listed. Wonder whether anything about to be .... talk of new '67 in Oct.

Would a modern automatic movement go straight into this? The hands are a bit loose on this so it rarely gets worn so I think upgrading to an automatic movement and new hands would give it a new lease on life

not sure but no think not the movement are different well they was with the vossie any way one is smaller then the other new vs vintage on the vossie they do fit if going smaller into large ..could be the case with yours as why loose in there maybe

Ah ok I think the old ones are smaller ( the bezels are anyway) the movement fits in mine it's the hands that are loose
