Watch diet
When I bought the Snoopy I waited about 14 months for it to come in without buying something so I don’t know if that counts. If it weren’t for the Rolexes most of the other watch’s have come from trades so I technically didn’t buy them. Maybe we should put it at the longest period you’ve gone without something (no matter how) coming in? Under this criteria I would say five months. Since I order things I never really know when they are coming in so the date from buy to receive can be quite long.

Looking back at this this thread -
http://www.intlwatchleague.com/showt...66-Memory-dump
I was certainly doing more than 17 in two years.
I even made a graph -
There were a good number of G-Shocks and affordable Seikos amongst them.

That was over 100 in the first year for me, and I’m not as bad as some
2000+ in four years

You bought them when you paid for them, no matter how long it takes to arrive, so I agree with your logic.

I went from May 2017 to Aug 2018, which is probably tice as long as I have ever gone before. I've bought three since the Quartz Tiki, but since I am loading up on scuba classes and gear it might be a while before I buy another.

A proper watch: January 2017. I've been very frugal, lately.
Research purposes? Do the Rantanplan watches mean NOTHING to you!?
Once in awhile you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

Well thanks gents I feel a lot better about my 17 in two years. Anyone else had any success avoiding purchases by limiting one's exposure to following the hashtags? I have several hashtags that I enjoy seeing the watch when it pops up but feel confident that I don't need to own it. It feels a little dangerous too, in a good and bad way.

I stopped buying watches 4 years ago, only own one, and haven't the desire to buy any others. Only because I can't afford my other hobbies plus the watches I want (I don't like things I can easily buy). So yes, the above is me.
