    Topper Limited Edition Seiko SPB107

Here is a new collaboration with Rob and Seiko which is a first for Seiko with a North American retailer. I believe he worked out the details while he was visiting them last year. This is also the lowest priced Topper LE to date with a retail price of $1000. Some of the things that are unique to this watch are the hard black case, orange-tipped second hand and color matched date wheel. It has the softer silicon strap with coated pin buckle and metal keeper. It also uses a new formula of Seiko's famous lume.

Here are a few more articles on the watch:

More subtlety and less change for the sake of it than many collaborations.

That's a subtle dive watch. I like it.
Too many watches, not enough wrists.

Ooh la la. Not generally a fan of DLC but that’s nice! Thanks for sharing.

I noticed that Seiko now puts a coating even on the SS (non-black) version of it's higher Prospex watches to resist scratching. I had some experience with this on some of the more recent Titanium models and it was quite effective. They continue to improve their materials so I assuming now 10 years later this is probably even more durable.
