    SMITHS PRS29AM - ‘Air Ministry’

Something of a sales hit (and periodically sold out), the Air Ministry is Timefactors’ tribute to the Omega 6B/159 of 1942 - the watch most associated with the RAF in World War II.

The pictures probably speak for themselves but the antique white dial and blued hands are fabulous.

The build quality is excellent and the hand-winding a pleasure.

    My write-up is here -

    Data
    • Size: 36mm x 11.1mm (including crystal)
    • Full anti-magnetic cage
    • Sapphire box crystal with A/R coating on the underside
    • Heat-blued hands
    • Drilled lugs
    • ETA2801-2, 17 jewels, Incabloc, hacking seconds and hand-winding

Purchased new in October 2018 and could pass as new. If I wasn’t currently embarked on fairly radical change it wouldn’t be going anywhere.

It won’t come on the strap shown, but on the supplied (unworn) Timefactors NATO.

The box is very nice, being in the form of a two-watch travel case.

    Price of a new one - £405

    Price of this one:
    £300

The watch will be offered on IWL for a couple of weeks and will then also be offered elsewhere.
