Well, I really hope we don’t lose you as you “deconstruct.” You make a lot of contributions here. As @Geoffbot demonstrates, you don’t need a collection to hang out here.

Once in awhile you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

    Have a great week ahead!
I've been thinking very seriously about this very version of the Exp II (40mm black dial). It's a toss up between the 10460 and this... This being the more unique piece as well as about 1K less preowned. I've always wanted a Sub, any version before the current case style and the 10460 seems like the most cost effective...but since I have the Planet Ocean, I wonder if the Exp II makes more sense. I LOVE my PO, but I'll have to admit, when I look at it, sometimes I think "it's just not a Sub." Other times I look at it and think it's better than a Sub.

    Utterly incomprehensible.

I have no children either, and a nephew who wears an Apple watch. But I think the legacy aspect is often overplayed and is sometimes disingenuous. We do things for ourselves.

There comes a point when what you have is what you keep, and some want a degree of tidiness in those things. I said something similar to my wife the other day, when she was surprised to see me packing up watches for sale. I then had to quickly reassure her that I wasn’t ‘putting my affairs in order’, anticipating an imminent demise.
