I'm already 22mos out from ACDF neck surgery on C5-7. What's one more surgery? It will suck for a few months, but I'm sure I deserve it.

I know gyms are closed in some areas, glad you still have access to weights.

But if you're going to do something, hit the big 3 first At least barbell squat. I'll allow DBs if you're doing split squats. Here's one of the greats training someone with his drop set of death on splits...

That's moving. Are you running any races? Wife is about 2 weeks into a program to help beat her previous race time.

Nah. We do challenges from time to time, and today was fastest mile.

I've been running. Consistently. Nothing exciting but it's consistent, which is a huge improvement. When I was marathoning, I never understood why people didn't like running. After my back surgery, my internal flame fizzled out and it's been a mighty struggle to get regular running in. I've been running 4-5 days per week pretty consistently for the last couple of months. I actually look forward to my runs, mostly. I, almost, feel like a runner again.

I average 3.5-4 miles everyday, though strictly treadmill. I did run outside for the first time in my life during peak pandemic. Nice trek from our old house to the Audi dealership and back. Our new place doesn’t really have a running path aside from just doing laps around the hood.

As an aside, I’ll be breaking in a new pair of Hoka’s tomorrow.

If you're running 3-4 miles/day you're doing great. Way ahead of most people.

Yeah, but I used to run marathons, so...
