Pretty decent cardio work out today - 6.5 km run, followed by a 1 km swim. Nice weather out, too, which helped. I swear, the +5 to -10 C temperature zone is ideal for running.

I agree. I still wear shorts at -5. Perfect weather. Ran in -23 a few days ago. That was not so awesome. Burns the lungs. I've also run in +30C with high humidity. That REALLY sucks!

I converted one of our bedrooms into a really nice gym and it is so great being able to only have to walk about 50 feet to hit the weights.

Love to lift weights (my next fav thing to watch collecting and car restoring), but I also did an ultra marathon once when I was really into running and self punishment.

That was a special kind of stupid....

I don't like running. I fricking love lifting though - it's up there with drinking!

I haven't done either in a couple of weeks. First I was traveling. Then I had the flu.

And now, I have decided to grow a beard.

(I am yet to determine what this has to do with me not working out...)

I actually have some semblance of a beard too. I'm going to a fancy dress party on Saturday as Nick fury, who has a goatee. It's...not great.

    Not a gym person.
My exercise of choice is martial arts training.
These days, JiuJitsu is my drug of choice at a local-ish mma gym.

That's a front kick. Find me a gif for an axe kick and I'll be impressed!
