It does fit a lot of exercise in the time

This is what happens, when you sleep 4.5 hrs, go for a 6k run and to cardio class with the wife in the evening.

I maybe might not follow that advice though .

I think it was a glitch in the hearrate measured during cardio. It claimed my heartrate spiked at 180 which is impossible given the very relaxed cardio we were doing. I think I wore the watch too loosely on the wrist and it counted way too many heartbeats. Had another 8k run today and now the watch still tells me (at 20:53) that I need another 25 hrs of rest. Seems unrealistic to me. That is the major weakness of Garmin (and a few other brands) -- many of the metrics are based on sleep and heartrate during training. The sleep tracking is not the best on the Garmins, unfortunately, so all the other metrics are then wrong because of that. I simply run whenever I feel like it and when I have a bit of pain in the knee or calves, I use the elliptical for a low impact 40 minute session basically every other day. Seems to work fine as I finally broke the 90-kg-barrier and am now at 89 kg. I wasn't that "skinny" since before my wedding (where I was at 93kg) which was 2010. But I am thinking about changing brands. There are a few things I dislike about Garmin (forced updates that break features I was using; etc) -- but I am not so sure other brands are all that much better. The perfect fitness-watch doesn't exist.
    Cheers, Sedi
