Hm. The Ju 52 nickname I’m familiar with is Tante Ju (Aunt Ju)
But a plane often has several
Tante Ju sounds about right, affectionate, but a little ponderous
In 1932 a Canadian airline bought some, calling it the Flying Boxcar, Wikipedia says
Which reminds me of the Short Skyvan, also much used by parachutists and regional airlines
Known as the Shed
