    Backwards, I know, since Iíve already posted a review of the watch, but the box and papers just arrived today. It follows a similar theme of simplicity as you would expect:

    The box is black urushi lacquer, and pictures canít really show the depth and sheen of this hand painted finish. At least not my pictures... Here is a short article about urushi lacquer:

    Inside the box is the place for the watch, and then if you lift out the top piece, the box has compartments underneath. Sadly, practical guy that I am, the box will be stored in the basement with all the others.
