Thread: What *haven't* you got incoming?

    What *haven't* you got incoming?

Last night I bid on a Seiko Lord Marvel. Since its got one of them sexy hibeat manual movements I would have been happy to cough up for the dial restoration it desperately needed and the case polish it would have deserved and the service it would have been wise to have done and the strap I would have wanted.

But my bid failed and I found myself afterwards to be a not that fussed on missing out on all that palaver. Perhaps if Lord Marvels were 37mm not 35mm my appetite would have had me bidding higher? Who knows?

Anyway. Not incoming: an early 70s Seiko Lord Marvel

Ha ha! Funny this comes up now, I'm still *literally* crying over losing a Seiko Pogue 6139-6002 e-bay auction last night....The watch was no-joke 23kms away from me, in very used, but FULLY ORIGINAL, FULLY WORKING and unpolished/un-opened/un-screwed-with condition.....A new crystal and service and I would have had the nicest Pogue in the world....I wasn't on the net when it ended and I let it slip away......I'm so sad

Most Pogues for sale on the net are absolute WRECKS! >:|

That Seiko Lord Marvel is nice!
I haven't got a Longines Hydroconquest 39mm incoming, because to fund it I'd have to sell one of my nicer watches and I can't bring myself to do that

I always worry about those services, you're basically giving them access to your eBay account, which seems dangerous...
