PHOTO CONTEST ANNOUNCEMENT
We will be discontinuing the photo contest due to lack of interest.
We may still sporadically post a photo contest, but it will no longer be a regular monthly or bi-monthly thing, instead it will be whenever we take a notion.

I think that's for the best.
We might get more interest if they are infrequent and random.
Solve all your doubts through question mode.

Very well, I'll find other gunfights to take my knife to ! 
I got lucky once, but generally didn't stand a chance; which was fine as it was fun to practice trying to take a quality picture anyway.
Thanks to Jeannie for keeping it going as long as you did.

think I found it hard linking watches into the subjects chosen sometimes as would get great pics some times but then trying to fit the watch in ruined it for me 
mean some of the close up shots on watches themselves was amazing 
I would have like to see them done in some ways with out the watches theme thou but then you know when your out and you just take a great shot of something and you really liked it and would like to use it so you try and add a watch in and wreck the shot ...
even thou we are a watch forum don't necessary need to do everything watch related ..think that could have been what made it slow down lack of ideas new ..
mean we must all have pic's we are proud of but may not be watch related ...
would have maybe like to see one done in the lounge then it could be done differently to spice it up make it completely random or loosely themed ..
just my thoughts thou
as nothing last forever does it so was fun while it lasted and I know from doing the more for score not easy to do so as others have said thanks to geoff and jeannie for their hard work with collating them
