Thunder snow?! You guys have crazy weather! (or crazy names for weather?)

As a kid the most exciting thing, beyond a normal African thunder storm, is when we got what we called a 'Monkey's wedding.' Any chance mom wasn't looking and you'd be outside in a flash. A more accurate, if less fun term is 'Sun shower'

As an adult, the scariest African weather is simply this: no rain. Long, lingering African droughts that end up with dead livestock, parched fields and empty taps. It's not exciting, but it's sad and scary as hell.

I'd Schwarzkopf it daily, except I couldn't be bothered with the inevitable explanations...

I've experienced 200metres away lightning (and the acompanying thunder) and that's called 'Jeeeeeeesussssssss Christ, WTF' lightning

No bombs, cyclones or snow. Just some sun, palm trees and a strange green dot in the picture.

Been a craapy day so far....Had to ship the Ressence back for repair due to movement issues (possible during shipping) and the UG has a massive crack in the dial and may be a recase.

    Wearing the Habring2 today

(seems like the main concern is very high winds combined with significant snowfall).

I guess we will see how it goes, since I've already planned to drive to work in the morning...guess I'll wear something tough though. The last time they closed schools pre-emptively based on the forecast, I think we ended up with a couple inches of snow... (I'm good with this because our school district has not had even 1 snow day this winter, despite the fact that we've had some incredibly big snow storms over this past season, where many surrounding school districts have closed and had a snow day.)

Pretty sure we will survive the forecasted and impressive sounding "bomb cyclone".

I think the GP can handle it.....

Really like this one, Chris. Definitely looks "bomb cyclone" worthy!

That's too funny -- I thought the same thing! I was half expecting to see "Rain" at the other end of the scale from "Wind"...

Well, that sucks. I’ll be interested to hear what Ressence’s customer service is like.
