I am looking to get a gps watch for mountain biking. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions. I was thinking about the Suunto Traverse.

A bit late reply, but I've been happy with my Suunto Spartan Trainer during a couple of years. I've been using it for tracking hikes, jogging, swimming, cycling, badminton, etc.
Traverse seems to have more features than Spartan, is I would imagine it will fit the bill very well.

An even more late reply, the Garmin Instinct is worth a look. It has a similar feature set with pretty accurate wrist based heart rate monitoring.
