Thread: Ice cream

    Ice cream

I'm not much of a one for sweet things or puddings (except Haribo, which I can eat by the bucket load), but I do like ice cream.
Thursday was a sunny day here, and I had my first of the year, a Kit Kat one (not a brand I'd tried before) and it was lovely, cone a little soggy, but otherwise great.
There's something about eating an ice-cream in the summer sun that is completely joyful, maybe it's an association with childhood and holidays.
Anyway, any other ice cream fans out there?

Buy a cheap ice-cream maker and start making your own. You'll enjoy them soooo much more. I did and haven't looked back.

We had home made ice cream at a friend's house recently and it was delicious, so I might well do that

Sorbets are easiest to start with too.

Knowing my fondness for Haribo Gold Bears, my sister bought me a bag that was 5 lbs for Christmas one year. On the second day with the Bears, I had to just give the bag away. I started to have some health concerns due to the pace at which I was devouring that bag.

And yes, I love ice cream as well.
