1973 Grand Seiko, which quickly climbed into the top tier among my humble hoard, after I picked it up in January. I was patient while seeking this one, and tried to remember my lessons with dozens of vintage watches in the past: It is worth spending a bit more for a better example. (Obvious to many of you, but I am a cheapie still, I confess.) I marvel at the sharp lines and crisp detail. The movement was serviced last year, and it is keeping +/- 2 sec/day time (or better from my casual tests.) Yummmm.
Too many watches, not enough wrists.

Off to the park with the little man shortly (hopefully the rain will hold off !), back to the '29B...
... Yep, still loving it; the Speedbird (as much as I like that too) hasn't knocked it off top spot.

Citizen today.
Looks like the weather will be nice today, which is good since I'll be camped out by my mailbox hoping for a successful delivery that I think CFR knows something about.
