The NAWCC National Watch & Clock Museum is holding its first Annual Clockwork Festival on Saturday, April 13, 2019. This event aims to bring together enthusiasts of the Make Movement, Steampunk, Gearworks, and Automaton communities all under the umbrella of horology.*
There will be panel discussions: one focusing on horology and the other on the Maker Movement. Participants will include Michele Marinelli and Jere Ryder, both of the Morris Museum Guinness Collection (Morris Township, NJ); Brett King from AutomataCon; Steampunk maker Don Dodson; and Lindsey Pei, watchmaker and designer from Ornament Incarnate. Dave Lindow, machinist and maker of the Lindow Rose Enginew, will lead a Rose Engine turning demonstration. More information about event programming can be found here.*
Vendors will be selling food and drink, and the event will be held from 10 AM to 4PM. Admission prices are $9 for adults, $8 for seniors, $5 for children under 16, and $23 for the whole family.*Pre-registrants will receive a free gift at the event.
