Sorry, C, I was typing mine and saw your WRUW after I hit submit...mods, please delete mine and thanks!

For the very first time in my watch voyage, with complete certainty, I can say that this one is a keeper...unless, I one day spring for the ALS Saxonia Moonphase and I trade it in.

I stare at the dial, mesmerized, and the second hand smoothness, and did I mention the dial? Same precision of indices, hands and the blue second hand make this, IMO, one killer watch that as usual for a GS, plays amongst the best out there no matter the cost.

From my first GS I always knew one had to be in my collection, and I thought the titanium would bother me as I prefer hefty watches, but after only a couple of days on the wrist, I completely don't care about my biggest fear as it wears like you have nothing on at all.

No problem, Walter. I'm sure you were distracted by that GS dial; I can't criticize, you.

Ahh, the wonders of Grand Seiko. I have worn (or kept running) my '73 GS for the last five days or so, and it is within a second of when I set the time last week. Very impressive. Gotta switch it around a bit, though, so Tuesday gets the Ikarus.

Too many watches, not enough wrists.
