You would have thought that there would already be an Aquis GMT, right?

Oris’s flagship diver family is pretty diverse but this is in fact the first time that an Aquis has been equipped with a diver’s bezel with a 24-hour scale.

The significance of this is that the watch can now display the time in three separate time-zones on the go:

one via a traditional central hour and minute hands; the second via the yellow-tipped central hand; and a third read off against the diver’s bezel.

And despite the watch’s globetrotting attributes, it is very much a diver. Its 43.5mm multi-construction Stainless steel case is water-resistant to 300 meters and is equipped with:

a screw-down crown with protection, and it is offered with a range of straps and a metal bracelet that are come with extending folding clasps for wearing over a wetsuit.

But the best is about the Aquis GMT is its gorgeous graduated blue dial which is surrounded by a black ceramic inlay with said 24hr scale.

The new ORIS Aquis GMT Date Ref. No. 01 798 7754 4135 has a Swiss retail price 260CHF and will be available form April this year.

Thoughts? Oris has resisted the urge to go for a two-tone bezel. I wonder how this would look with a Pepsi bezel? What do you think?
