    A little awwwwww moment ....

Today I met a little treasure that you don't get to see up close that often.
He'd lost it's mum , so felt quite ok in coming up to me to say hello and ask for help

He was here for ten minutes, not wary of me whatsoever , ... then I put him back on the right side of the fence, he went up and tried his luck with the nearest mum, but she was having none of it after sniffing him and head butted him 1/2 a metre across the grass !!, so he lay down in the sun .....

he tried again to call for mum, she didn't answer , so he lay down in the sunshine.

Used to happen to me - and it was my mum. She wasn't very maternal.

I was going to post something similar last night, but thought better of it. Wasn't sure how sensitive our audience is to such.
Some people have opinions - The rest of us have taste.

The only veggie here I'm *aware* of is MarkO, and he's a Brit so should be thick-skinned enough

I expect Jeannie (being the sensitive sort of sort) would give you all a bit of stick if she'd seen the thread and mention of mint sauce ......

I'm going back this evening with a griddle
How could you , it was such a lovely little animal , they do turn out to be ugly damn things when they get older though, and it hadn't been scared off humans with their mint sauce, so it was quite happy to be petted lol

I've seen the thread and the mint sauce. I see every thread in The Lounge.

I am not unaware people eat lamb, although I do not. Nor veal. I'm not vegeterian, but I will not eat baby animals.

    I do eat eggs.
