    Recycled pic

Today I'll have lunch with a friend and help him choose a JLC Reverso - still not sure which one. My presence was required to provide some 'technical' support. Now, isn't that hilarious?! I'm supposed to be 'the watch guy'...

Picked this up today in a little shop in Tacoma, WA, 1912, cal. 992. He claimed the dial was not refinished, but it looks like it was, and if not, it must have been a safe queen.

Beautiful pocket watch. And now, forgive me, but I'm going to say a terrible blasphemy: who cares if the dial was refinished or not? It's a lovely watch, that's what it is.

    Congrats, Walter.

Thanks, C! I don't much care if it was refinished as well, and if it is, they did a great job.

I barely got to wear any watch yesterday because I was painting a part of our house that we fixed when it was still raining (waited to paint until now the weather is turning dry.) I wore the Damasko for a bit before and after, and kept the GS running... so I'll just keep that pair ticking for now...

Too many watches, not enough wrists.

The pessimist says it can't get any worse while the optimist says it can.
