When you've completed everything including The Big Three, custom is the only way to go!! Very cool.

Well, at long last, it’s here!

A very simple box, with a simple leather travel case:

When I envisioned this watch two years ago, I pictured a skeleton with a less ornate, more industrial look, but still extremely well finished. I imagined a pebble-like finish for the plates and a brushed finish for the gears and other bits. I wanted a thin ring with hour and minute markers. Roland came up with the idea for the three way seconds hands, which allow even more of the works to be exposed. Not to mention how cool it is to watch both the “propeller” rotate and the gear underneath it.

The movement is Roland’s in house 801, but skeletonized as much as possible without sacrificing stability. Here come the pictures...

    More coming...

The case is brushed, 42mm x 10.5mm, although it wears a bit thicker (not much, though). The hands are Roland’s trademark Pennsylvania Keystone (Pennsylvania is known as the Keystone State), and the theme is carried over to the buckle as well.

    More to come.

Oooh that's delicious. It makes me drool just a little bit.
Too many watches, not enough wrists.

Did someone say painstaking finishing? Suffice it to say the pictures show it doesn’t have to be ornate to be meticulous and beautiful.

One other small point—the movement runs at 18000 vph, like the vintage pocket watch movements it’s modeled after. I love the stately ticking, less frenetic, as if to echo simpler times.

    Congratulations. That is lovely.
Now I want something with a 3 way seconds hand.
